Mengdi & Andrew
Mengdi and Andrew celebrated their love with closest family and friends, who arrived from all over the World. They exchanged vows in the beautiful gazebo of the historical Marybrooke Manor on a sunny October day. The natural beauty of this Dandenong Ranges wedding location was a perfect backdrop for their classy, timeless wedding.
Mengdi enhanced the beauty of her white tulle wedding dress by adding a pop of colour with her makeup and bridal bouquet.
During the ceremony I could see smiling faces and joyful tears. And while we were taking a few couple portraits in the garden and the courtyard, the guests enjoyed a drink and played lawn games.
Mengdi changed her dress for the tea ceremony, which is a traditional Chinese ceremony to welcome the newlyweds to each other’s family. Then, she changed once again, this time into her red reception dress. The couple, along with the best man and the groom’s father gave emotional toasts that caused the guests to tear up once again.
When all their bellies were full, they served the cake. But this was no regular wedding dessert. These Marvel-loving sweethearts added a funny twist to their wedding cake by decorating it with a Deadpool figure. After some funky moves on the dance floor, they said goodbye to their guests, running under a farewell arch.
Their love for each other and their families is so powerful and I am truly lucky to have documented all these intimate, love filled wedding moments. It was a day of touching emotions and laughter, definitely a day to remember. Congratulations and a big thank you for trusting me.
